Away from the main tourist routes
Discover the unspoilt Bali in the VW Kübelwagen.
Welcome to Bali VW Tour
Small groups, real encounters.
Since 1988 we have been taking small groups deep into the island's hinterland in the legendary VW 181 – to rice fields, volcanoes, villages and people few tourists ever see.

„Let us explain the island, its culture and its people to you.“
Our idea
Understanding Bali – not just driving through it.
To truly get to know the island of Bali, it is not enough simply to drive across it. People speak a different language and express themselves differently. So much is unfamiliar – and it is not easy to grasp what lies behind it all.
Many years ago we chose the VW 181 "Kübelwagen" (known here as the VW Safari) to reach Bali's remote, unspoilt landscapes and villages. Our trained guides share a wealth of knowledge about the culture, rice farming and the way of life of the islanders.
We also happily run trips for incentive and educational groups of up to 50 participants.
