Tour 6 – Bali nature in West Bali

The west of Bali is the island's great rice-growing region – a land full of nature, far from the bustle of the south. A potters' village, rice terraces, a waterfall and crater lakes are the highlights of this day tour.

Individual pick-up from your hotel in a VW "Kübelwagen". In the potters' village of Pejaten you can watch pottery being made in a still very traditional way. An impressive drive follows the west coast to Antosari and from there to the beautiful, sweeping rice terraces of Belimbing, where the lunch stop is planned.

We continue to the village of Munduk: after a short walk along a narrow path we reach the hidden Munduk waterfall. An impressive drive then climbs into higher regions, past clove and coffee plantations, to the crater lakes Tamblingan and Buyan. Nestled in extinct volcanic craters and surrounded by jungle, the lakes radiate a wonderful calm. Then return to your hotel.
