Diving with Bali VW Tour

For our diving guests we work with the North Bali Dive Center in Penyabangan in north-west Bali.

The dive centre was founded by Jörg Scharf from Munich – on Bali known almost exclusively as "Pa Madé" – who has lived on the island since late 2003. A passionate diver and instructor with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) and CMAS/VIT, he set out to create everything he himself had most appreciated – and often missed – as a holiday diver at dive resorts around the world.

The North Bali Dive Center offers stress-free diving à la carte, a family atmosphere and personal attention. Diving is done in small groups – usually two or four divers plus guide. The programme follows your experience and preferences: you dive when you want and where you want, and Nitrox is available at no extra charge.

The dive region of north-west Bali

The north-west is the island's most exciting dive region – and at the same time the least developed for tourism. There are coral gardens and walls of the finest quality, virtually every animal you could hope to see in a tropical sea, and often enough big fish and turtles. Macro photographers get their money's worth too.
